Mid 2020, we commenced our understory rehabilitation of the Ludlow settlement 50 hectare lease. With the support of Parks and Wildlife and a grant from Plantrite native nursery and a Federal Government Communities Environment program grant, we successfully planted a range of endemic understory plant species to get the ball rolling.
This initial effort is the beginning of our objective to rehabilitate the entire 50 hectare lease. A recent Lotterywest grant to restore the Ludlow greenhouse will provide a place for us to propagate and care for many more plant species to continue the project.
