With hundreds of hectares of forest spanning various land tenures and multiple communities, negative impacts on the Ludlow Tuart Forest come from a wide range of areas.
While the Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group cannot restore the entire forest from Jurien to Busselton, the Committee works diligently to raise awareness of the significance of the forest as a vital ecosystem and a site of natural beauty β and negotiates the best outcomes it can to protect the expanse of the forest and the quality of the experience for visitors.
Our objective is βTo provide community support for the essential restoration, protection and ongoing maintenance of the iconic Ludlow Tuart Forest and the historic Ludlow settlement for the benefit of future generations, biodiversity, tourism, education and research.β
We are not activists.
Advocacy is not activism. The Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group believes in building effective relationships with government and key decision-makers. Effective advocacy is all about achieving results, and we choose to use a positive and constructive approach to reach better outcomes for the forest.
